A faithfully reproduced Grand Trunk Railway standard-plan station, inspired by the original station in Acton Vale, Quebec.
Acton Vale Station. 1/220 scale (Z). This station building is based on a standard plan used by the Grand Trunk Railway Company to construct several stations between 1895 and 1905 along the line connecting Montreal to Portland, Maine. It features a variety of architectural elements, including a steeply pitched dormer, a turret with multi-paned windows, and a bellcast roof.
